Raštika (Dalmatian Swedes) is a biennial herbaceous plant with well-developed spindle roots that branch. This kale is grown for leaves that are read successively from the base to the top of the plant throughout the winter to early spring. As a vegetable, crops grown in the Croatian littoral, the islands and in Herzegovina, primarily in the gardens. Long was this vegetable of the poor, however, is increasingly revealing its exceptional nutritional value, becoming a culinary hit. The most nutrients this collard will retain when shortly boiled, steamed and when you pour in an extra virgin olive oil.
